Meet Diane

Diane Trasatti M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD-BE bilingual speech therapist and AAC specialist in Florida

Diane Trasatti M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD-BE

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

I am a wife, mother, and speech therapist with over 14 years of experience working with children of all ages. My background has given me insight into the importance of using strategies that fit into a busy lifestyle and listening to the unique needs of each family that I work with.

Every child deserves a voice, and I am passionate about supporting all methods of communication - whether spoken, signed, or selected on an AAC device. I have learned that children grow the quickest when parents and therapists work together toward common goals, so I am equally focused on empowering parents as their child’s most important language teachers. My goal is to help parents feel like they have options, resources, and support throughout the process, and I strive to find solutions to the obstacles that they are facing in their daily lives.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, and my master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. Since then, I have worked in public schools, private preschools, early intervention settings, a pediatric hospital, and private practice. I am dedicated to continuing my education and discovering new resources so that my practice is current, evidence-based, and effective.

Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my family and attending my children’s extracurricular activities! I enjoy paddle boarding, running, hiking, and going to the beach.

Advanced Certifications & Trainings:

  • Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Training

  • Bilingual Extension Institute Certificate (Teachers College, Columbia University)

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

  • Advanced training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC)

"Our family is so grateful for the time our 2yo son has spent working with Diane. He loves playing with her (to the point that he would get a little sad when she would have to leave) and she did an incredible job of expanding his speech and language skills during our weekly sessions. She also gave us, as his parents, the tools and knowledge we needed to help him on a daily basis. She is extremely professional and always punctual as well as flexible when our family needs to make changes to our schedule. She was extremely helpful in helping me navigate through evaluation processes and meetings with Early Steps as well. Our son has made significant progress in only a year working with Diane. I would recommend her to any family in need of speech/language therapy!" -K.B., Parent
